Fall...when the leaves turn maroon and orange!!

So I really thought that summer was my favorite season, but I have been eagerly waiting for fall to arrive. I don't know what it is, but I am just craving fall clothes, food, football, and weather!!! To me there is no better place to be in the fall than BLACKSBURG, VA! I left a piece of my heart there when I graduated. I knew that especially now that school is starting, I would miss not going back. Don't get me wrong, I love being married, my new job and being in Richmond. But if you went to school there, then you know what I am talking about. I want to share some of my favorite memories of fall at my home for 4 years. I can't wait to enjoy this fall in a whole different way. I know it won't be the same because I am not a student anymore and I am living in a city for the first time. That means I probably wont get to enjoy as many maroon and orange leaves, but believe me I will get the most out of this awesome season. Summer isn't over yet, but I have been making a fall bucket list that I want to share with you. This is to avoid it being December and me saying "I wish I had done             ."
I want to know: What is your favorite season and why?? Do you love fall as much as me? What are you looking forward to in the fall? What would you put on your fall bucket list?

find a pumpkin patch near Richmond and go to it
go on a hayride
take a nature walk and bring the camera
go camping (have to do this before it gets too cold)

make pumpkin-chocolate ice cream
DIY fall decorations to put in the apartment

* if you have a suggestion or ideas, please let me know! I need to add more :)

  1. Fall is by far the best season because of the crisp air, the coziness of cuddling, maroon and orange leaves, Hokie football, big sweaters and riding boots (with leggings of course!), pumpkin spice lattes, pumpkin-picking and last but not least spending it with family and friends. Enjoying the beauty of the outside from your window, it's the simple things like that that are worth it.

    1. Thanks for sharing Brittany!! Sounds like you love fall too!!!

  2. I LOVE fall! It's my favorite. I love everything pumpkin and just cold enough weather you have to wear a sweater or jacket. Check out Edy's pumpkin ice cream-so good!

    1. Gabby, I have tried Edy's pumpkin ice cream! I actually plan to make my own with my ice cream attachment for my kitchenaid mixer. My and Tim's favorite combination is pumpkin and chocolate which we always have at Sinkland Farms!

    2. That sounds delicious! I might have to get an ice cream attachment for my mixer. :)

    3. You should! It's really easy. Makes ice cream in about 15 minutes :)I've made peanut butter/banana and caramel/pecan.

  3. throw the biggest HOKIE PARTY you ever seen @ Home with your Daddy, Mommy, and little sis, and many many of your Hokie Friends

    1. Sounds like a plan! We haven't had one in a long time :)

    2. you can count on it, Love you baby, Daddy

  4. i'm sure you will hear about this once fall comes around, but ashland berry farm is the best place to go in richmond for haunted hayrides :)

    1. Thanks for the tip! That sounds like fun. Im sure my husband will enjoy the haunted hay ride :)

I love hearing from my readers! Thank you for taking the time to show my blog some love :)
