I have a confession to make. I am pretty sure I have house envy!! Don't get me wrong, we definitely made the right decision by sticking with an apartment for now. It's great because we can find what areas in Richmond we love and so when it comes to the time to house hunt we won't have to sell first!! I do love our apartment and we have really turned it into a home. Its just really hard to see lots of other friends and bloggers that I follow personalize and redo their houses. The reasons I have house envy are:
- You can fix it up however you want
- more space
- backyard/porch,balcony, or deck space (in most cases)
But I also know it means more rooms to clean ;) so in some ways I am glad that I have fewer rooms! One of the main spaces that I wish I had would be an office space. I feel like I have accumulated so many things from my interior design studio at VT and having my own desk area at my old apartment. AND I have nowhere to put the stuff. So for now it sits at home in my old room collecting dust. When I do have an office space, I definitely want an inspiration wall of some old art and projects that I have done to remind of how much I have improved since then. It would also help me to be more organized. Each of these spaces are very clean and put together and that is why I love them. They aren't cluttered and they are still very stylish even if it is a place for business or work. I can't wait to have a beautiful desk and chair like some of these images. But since I don't have an office now, it gives me time to search for the perfect pieces!! Which ones are your favorites?? Do you have a stylish home office? If so I would love to see it and I will probably Pin It. If you don't know what that means, you NEED to follow this link:
